Postcrossing Meetings at the International Postcard Convention in Berlin (12-13 July 2025)

The countdown is on for the International Postcard Convention in Berlin, celebrating 20 years of Postcrossing! This exciting event, set to take place on 12-13 July 2025 at the Museum für Kommunikation Berlin, promises to gather postcard enthusiasts from all over Europe and beyond. With attendees arriving at different times across both days, the convention will be a dynamic and continuous celebration of postcards, creativity, and connection.

Attendance Overview

The diversity of attendance times ensures a lively atmosphere throughout the event. Based on responses to the Google form:

  • 50% of respondents plan to attend on both days.
  • 15% will join on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
  • 27% will arrive on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
  • 8% are expected on Sunday starting at 10:00 AM.
  • Another 8% will join on Sunday at 2:00 PM.

This staggered attendance allows for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone, with plenty of opportunities to meet fellow postcrossers and participate in activities.




Visitors from Around the World

Adding to the excitement, attendees will come from at least 24 countries, making this a truly international event. According to the Google form responses, participants represent (alphabetic order):

Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.

This incredible diversity highlights the global reach of Postcrossing and the shared love for postcards that unites people across borders.

  • Special Postmarks: Unique designs by Deutsche Post DHL Group will be available during the event.
  • Meeting Cards: A variety of meeting card designs can be pre-ordered or purchased at the convention.
  • Personalized Lanyards: Available for purchase to help identify fellow attendees and keep your essentials handy.
  • Free Entrance: Access to the convention area is free for all visitors (museum tickets must be purchased separately).
