Postcards in UA - Introduction

Welcome to postcards.in.ua – a postcard store created by a postcrosser, for postcrossers!

Our motto is simple: To make every mailbox happy.

My name is Tamara Levit, from Ukraine and I'm the owner and also an active postcrosser myself, so I know the joy of finding the perfect card for every swap. I personally run the store and love creating a wide variety of themes to match all kinds of wishlists - from cute and cozy to quirky and rare.

I'm also the organizer of the volunteer project Postcards to the Front, which sends postcards with words of support to Ukrainian defenders. Thousands of cards have already been delivered to bring a bit of warmth and gratitude to those on the front lines.

Every design is made with care and a love for this beautiful hobby. Let's spread smiles, one postcard 

 

Arndt Laude Kunst & Karten introduction

Hello dear fellow Postcrossers and all postcard enthusiasts,

I am fotobiene, a member of the postcrosser community since 2020, and I like to introduce Arndt Laude, a photographer for many years and a publisher of his own creations since 2013. I got to know Arndt and his photographic work in 2010. At that time Arndt didn't plan to publish much of his work. So I proposed to exhibit, which we did, and subsequently, as the next logical step, we did some postcard-printing of the exhibited works. Well, right there the idea of a publisher company was born, and in 2013 we held in hands our first considerable amounts of postcards. Step by step we got access to bookstores, museums and other places, where Arndt's cards of unusual aesthetics steadily aroused interest, and all of a sudden I found myself not only in a sales girl job and as a helping hand with accomplishing orders. Arndt also hired me for some sort of modelling jobs, and I proudly became part of some of his photographic works and postcard motifs.

Since 2018 Arndt completely makes a living of his publishing business up until today, and now we are especially excited to bring this kind of art to the people at places like this, where fellow postcrossers discover and enjoy the variety of different motifs Arndt has to offer.

POSTCARDITIS ist der Shop von AnKaBeGu, einer aktiven Postcrosserin aus Berlin. AnKaBeGu - oder Anja - rennt durch Berlin und versucht die Stadt auf Bilder zu bannen. Daraus entstehen oft Postkarten, die ihren Blick auf die Stadt widerspiegeln. Aber es gibt auch andere Motive, die im Laufe der Zeit für Euch entstanden sind. Anja ist kreativ und hat vielleicht auch die eine oder andere Überraschung für Euch mit auf der Convention.

POSTCARDITIS is the shop of AnKaBeGu, an active postcrosser from Berlin. AnKaBeGu – or Anja – runs through Berlin trying to capture the city in pictures. This often results in postcards that reflect her view of the city. But there are also other motifs that have been created for you over time. Anja is creative and might even have a surprise or two for you at the convention.

Special Designed Lanyards

Another news is that all visitors of our event will have free entrance at ground level of the museum. And, upon your requests, we produced some lanyards - to "certify" that you are part of the event. They are not mandatory, but nice to have.

The lanyards have multiple purposes - they can be used as well after our event - to hang keys or to hang your phone. And they are decorated with postcard symbols with colour of German Flag - so not aggressive advertisement. They will come together with a plastic support and also a special cardboard/ postcard size where you can add your name and/ or postcrossing nickname with a marker. 

Those lanyards are a sign also for the museum staff in order to recognize the people who have them that they are part of the event.
