Organizers

The organizers for this event are: Mihnea (Romania) and Holger (Germany)

My name is Mihnea Raducu - I am from Romania - and together with Holger Kaufhold from Germany - we are postcrossers, and even more, Postcrossing Ambassadors :) - welcome you at this event!

Most likely you know my postcards - first I was a postcrosser and after (due to my needs as well) I made my online shop - postcardsmarket dot com - where can be found FOTW, MOTW, Titina & Friends series and other postcards.Together with my German friend, we want to organize the First Postcard Convention in Berlin in July - when Postcrossing will celebrate 20 years of existence (The postcard convention is a long term project with future editions as well, yearly). Postcrossing is something that connects people worldwide, and we think to have a space where all of us - online postcard sellers - can be present to offer postcards to all postcrossers that will visit the convention. I must state that the event will not be organized by my company, but by a third party (my company is for selling cards, not for event organization), and also it is not organized by the Postcrossing website owners.The event will be at Museum für Kommunikation Berlin, Leipziger Straße 16. 10117 Berlin Germany.  

Our partner for this event will be Deutsche Post - DHL Group - being co-organizer.

We expect 2-300 visitors from throughout Europe during those 2 days (but there can be even more), potential buyers of postcards, of course. In one of the rooms we want to have presence of as many postcard sellers possible (at least from Europe, specially from Germany) - and we want to organize the event in Berlin because Germany is the first country at "sent postcards" on postcrossing (https://www.postcrossing.com/explore/countries).
