Postcards in UA - Introduction

Welcome to postcards.in.ua – a postcard store created by a postcrosser, for postcrossers!

Our motto is simple: To make every mailbox happy.

My name is Tamara Levit, from Ukraine and I'm the owner and also an active postcrosser myself, so I know the joy of finding the perfect card for every swap. I personally run the store and love creating a wide variety of themes to match all kinds of wishlists - from cute and cozy to quirky and rare.

I'm also the organizer of the volunteer project Postcards to the Front, which sends postcards with words of support to Ukrainian defenders. Thousands of cards have already been delivered to bring a bit of warmth and gratitude to those on the front lines.

Every design is made with care and a love for this beautiful hobby. Let's spread smiles, one postcard 

 

Arndt Laude Kunst & Karten introduction

Hello dear fellow Postcrossers and all postcard enthusiasts,

I am fotobiene, a member of the postcrosser community since 2020, and I like to introduce Arndt Laude, a photographer for many years and a publisher of his own creations since 2013. I got to know Arndt and his photographic work in 2010. At that time Arndt didn't plan to publish much of his work. So I proposed to exhibit, which we did, and subsequently, as the next logical step, we did some postcard-printing of the exhibited works. Well, right there the idea of a publisher company was born, and in 2013 we held in hands our first considerable amounts of postcards. Step by step we got access to bookstores, museums and other places, where Arndt's cards of unusual aesthetics steadily aroused interest, and all of a sudden I found myself not only in a sales girl job and as a helping hand with accomplishing orders. Arndt also hired me for some sort of modelling jobs, and I proudly became part of some of his photographic works and postcard motifs.

Since 2018 Arndt completely makes a living of his publishing business up until today, and now we are especially excited to bring this kind of art to the people at places like this, where fellow postcrossers discover and enjoy the variety of different motifs Arndt has to offer.
